Additive synthesis stacks 64 sine waves with individual amplitude control over every harmonic. Supersaw layers five detuned sawtooths — the classic trance and electronic texture, done properly. Supersquare does the same with square waves for a darker, more hollow result. IXA combines phase modulation and waveshaping in a method borrowed from an obscure early-90s synthesizer, producing sounds that sit somewhere between FM and analog. The new Arpeggiator offers eighteen patterns including standard up/down, Converge, Diverge, Brownian motion, Skip Up/Down, and more. A Chance knob introduces probabilistic rests for rhythmic variation. Everything syncs to your host's tempo. The Genetics panel is a new way to find sounds you wouldn't have designed intentionally. Open it with any patch loaded, and Continua generates a branching tree of mutations — each node a subtly different version of your starting point. Click any node to hear it. Double-click to make it the new root and generate another generation of variations. Toggle which parameter categories can mutate — oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs, effects — and follow the branches wherever they lead. The preset browser has been completely overhauled with a cleaner four-column layout, faster navigation, and improved import/export.
