Your projects from earlier versions open in it. EVERY TRACK, FOR EVERYONE All 32 tracks are now part of the app, whatever you bought before. If you paid for extra tracks, that money comes back: open Options > Upgrades for free months of Unlock All Features, and a lower price on the one-time purchase that keeps it forever. NEW - MIDI tracks and clips, a piano roll with Draw mode, the MIDI Matrix, filter and transform chains, Network MIDI, and Standard MIDI Files with their tempo maps. - MIDI loop recording: each lap is a take of its own, new notes join the clip they land in, and tapping overlapping clips cycles through them. - MIDI 2.0 per-note pitch bend and pressure, each in its own lane with a curve on every segment. Drag a handle to bend it. - MIDI Panic, in the file menu, stops stuck notes on every MIDI destination. - Automation for volume, pan, sends, EQ, compressor, pitch, and Audio Unit parameters, plus MIDI CC lanes. - Tempo automation: draw ramps and curves, and audio, MIDI, and Ableton Link follow in real time. - Time signature changes anywhere on the ruler, as many as a song needs. - Time stretching and warp markers, and pitch shifting up to two octaves with formant preservation. - Surround and multichannel, from stereo to 9.1 and 4-16 channel pass-through, with a panner that keeps at least 24 dB between neighboring speakers. - Region crossfades: overlap two regions and the overlap is the crossfade. - A curve for every fade. Drag a fade handle up or down to bend it. - Recording latency calibration. Detect measures your mic, speaker, or interface with a short chirp, so takes land where you played them. - Ableton Link and outgoing MIDI are timed to the speaker, Bluetooth included. - Input monitoring stays silent on the one route that can only feed back, the built-in mic and speaker. New songs start with it on. - Takes that survive: a call, a lost interface, or a closed song ends the take and keeps it. Playback stops when headphones, AirPods, or a USB device disconnect. - Six plugins per chain on every track, bus, and the master, and four send busses. - Exports with real dither, and Normalize is now a choice, with a ceiling you set. - iCloud Drive projects, the Files app, drag and drop, and ZIP browsing. - Light, dark, and custom themes. - German, French, and Japanese throughout, and a help guide that works offline. - MultiTrack asks for the microphone when you arm a track, not at launch. - No account, no tracking, and no analytics or crash-reporting service. UNLOCK ALL FEATURES MIDI editing, time stretching and warp editing, and automation come with Unlock All Features: a subscription, or a one-time purchase. Everything else, pitch shifting included, is part of the app. REMOVED - Audiobus. A song saved with an Audiobus input opens with no input selected. - Wi-Fi mixdown and track downloads. Wi-Fi still carries projects and audio files; send finished mixes out through Files, AirDrop, or the share sheet. - The speaker button on plugin windows.
