| Release Notes | This is an important update that modernizes the MIDI functionality in the AUv3 context, and also ensures general robustness for the iOS 18. In addition, audio algorithms used in pitch modulation effects receive significant upgrades that result in superior audio quality. ToneStack PRO now provides an additional AUv3 plugin titled “ToneStack PRO MIDI,” which is a MIDI-controllable deployment optimized for current AUv3 conventions. Users who wish to control the ToneStack PRO plugin via MIDI should instantiate this version instead of the one titled “ToneStack PRO.” If your plugin hosts / DAWs don’t automatically route MIDI into FX plugins, please refer to their documentation to learn how to do so. The old AUv3 plugin is still included as simply “ToneStack PRO,” but no longer supports MIDI control as the frameworks used are now deprecated. If you wish to switch to the MIDI-enabled version of the plugin in your existing projects, simply replace “ToneStack PRO” with “ToneStack PRO MIDI” in the plugins list of your DAW track. The above update does not affect the MIDI functionality of the standalone app in any way. |
