Aura

Aura is an unequaled real-time audio analysis suite that brings the ultimate in flexibility, power, accuracy, and beauty to audio visualization.

Each of Aura’s meters comes packed with customizable Meter and Trace/Indicator options, allowing you to build around your workflow and metering environments. Aura's controls are neatly contained and visible only when you need them, meaning Aura keeps your workspace free of visual clutter and confusing menus.

All of the meters are also AudioUnit v3 plug-ins, so they can be used in other AudioUnit hosts such as Logic or GarageBand, or used to their full potential within the Aura host app.

** NOTE: some of the meters in Aura require Metal, the advanced macOS graphics engine. Make sure your computer supports Metal in order to get the most out of Aura.

** SPECTRAL **

Displays the frequency content of an audio signal on a 2D graph

- Traces for Magnitude, Magnitude Difference, Phase Difference, and Coherence
- Rotate to any orientation with configurable rulers on all sides
- Multiple colored grids and overlays
- Linear and logarithmic scales
- Drag and droppable markers
- Spectrums exportable as CSV or FRD files

**  NEEDLE **

An arcing pointer to indicate a signal level

- VU, BBC, and LU metering modes
- 2 simultaneous indicators and one peak LED
- “Above” and “Below” scale indicators
- Conforms to Program Loudness (LUFS) standards
- Supports TruePeak measurement

** BAR **

A strip of colorful LED-like segments to indicate a signal level

- Display peak, RMS, LU, TruePeak, AES-17, and average values
- Completely configurable with bars, rulers, and spacers
- Rotate to any orientation
- Variable bar and segment sizes
- Linear, logarithmic and classic lin/log scales

** HISTORY **

Displays an audio signal across a real-time timeline

- Traces for Levels, LU, Leq, Waveform, Spectrogram, Correlation, and Power Difference
- All traces run against the same timeline
- Configurable modules can hold multiple overlapping traces
- Rotate to any orientation with configurable rulers on all sides
- Overlays for the entire meter or single modules
- Scroll back in time to see previous values
- Trace history exportable as text or image

** TEXT **

Numbers and arbitrary text to display audio analysis values

- An open canvas for any number of traces
- Freeform placement of other graphic elements like labels, lines, and frames
- Presets including Peak, RMS, AES-17, Average, TruePeak, Crest Factor, Form Factor, Clip Count, Clip Incident Count, Maximum Clip Run, Momentary/Short-Term/Integrated Program Loudness, Loudness Range, SPL, Leq, LeqA, THD, THD+N, and Pitch
